Madlanga Commission | Inquiry continues on Monday - Mike Bolhuis, Andy Mashaile weigh in

The public hearings into allegations of criminality, political interference and corruption in the criminal justice system continue with suspended Tshwane CFO Gareth Mnisi in the hot seat.

Mnisi last week pushed back against allegations raised at the Madlanga Commission, denying that he helped secure a municipal contract for a colleague's relative.

Mnisi testified before the commission on Friday, where questions were raised about a security tender awarded to a company called Ngaphesheya, owned by the brother of Sergeant Fannie Nkosi.

The company has reportedly received close to R3 million from the municipality. Meanwhile, suspended Mpumalanga police commissioner Semakaleng Manamela has made serious allegations about senior officials, including National Police Commissioner Fannie Masemola.
