Mexico coach, Javier Aguirre says no experience in his 50 years in the game compares with the emotions of a World Cup on home soil. The 2026 edition of the FIFA World Cup finally gets underway tonight, when the co-hosts take on South Africa in a Group A match in Mexico City. The other two teams in the group, the Czech Republic and South Korea, will do battle in Guadalajara (pron: Gua-dala-hara) tomorrow morning, SA time.
