EU Commissioner of Agriculture on imported food

“When it comes to the standards, it is not up for discussion, it is not up for negotiation.”

EU Commissioner of Agriculture and Food Christophe Hansen told #TheEuropeConversation that the EU should not import food that does not have the same standards that European farmers must meet and that it would be hypocritical to do so.
