New medicine dispensing courses proposed

The South African Pharmacy Council has introduced national minimum standards for dispensing courses aimed at healthcare professionals who are not pharmacists. It intends to allow medical professionals to obtain the necessary licensing to compound and dispense medicines under the Medicines Act.
