SHA Cracks Down on Public Hospitals Over Failure to Dispense Drugs

Public hospitals contracted under the Social Health Authority will face a penalty for failing to dispense drugs to patients who seek medical services in their facilities. Speaking during the flag off of a nationwide biometric registration for dependants aged 7-17 years, health cabinet secretary Aden Duale said facilities found culpable risk being deducted 38% of their claims or will not be reimbursed.
