Nelson Mandela Museum marks Mandela Day at Bizana, birthplace of Winnie Madikizela-Mandela

The Nelson Mandela Museum in the Eastern Cape commemorated the Nelson Mandela International Day at the birthplace of Winnie Madikizela-Mandela in Bizana in the Eastern Cape.

It identified one of the disadvantaged schools in the area as a focus point to spend their 67 minutes.

The musuem was joined by Eastern Cape premier Oscar Mabuyane and the Deputy Minister of Sports, Arts and Culture, Bertha Peace Mabe.

The garden was also restored and sports equipment was donated to the school.
