UKRAINE CLOSER TO THE EU AND NATO?
The leaders of the Nordic and Baltic countries expressed their support for Ukraine’s path to both EU and NATO membership following Tuesday’s meeting. Finland, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania released a joint statement in which they stressed Ukraine’s contribution to Euro-Atlantic security and described its EU membership as “one of the key security guarantees” for Europe.

ANOTHER RUSSIAN ATTACK ON KHARKIV
Kharkiv came under attack overnight Tuesday, with local authorities reporting that as many as 26 drones were used to strike the city. At least four people, including a child, were wounded in the attack.

PROTESTS IN THE U.K. AFTER A BRUTAL KNIFE ATTACK
Protests erupted across the U.K. Tuesday evening after a brutal knife attack, described by some as an attempted beheading. The stabbing left one victim with serious wounds to the head and neck. Police charged a Sudanese man, rekindling anti-immigrant rhetoric and sparking protests throughout major cities.
