Nigeria's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, says she is displeased with the South African government's response to the ongoing wave of immigration tensions targeting Nigerian nationals, in particular. She has warned that retaliatory diplomatic measures, including a review of bilateral privileges, are being actively considered and remain on the table. The first batch of over one thousand Nigerians in South Africa were expected to return home on Monday but the repatriation flight was later rescheduled over documentation delays.
