Madlanga Commission | Focus on flaws in IPID Aeroton drug bust report

The Madlanga Commission has scrutinised the report of IPID Assistant Director of Investigations, Takalani Zelda Maphosho. Her report into the July 2021 Aeroton R300-million drug bust made adverse findings of defeating the ends of justice against Major-General Feroz Khan, and senior Hawks officials, without any basis. Maphosho investigated a complaint made by the first responders on the scene, Chief Samuel Mashaba, Seargent Steve Phakula and Warrant Officer Marumo Magane, against the Hawks who arrested them for allegedly dealing in drugs.
