North West | Legal action looms over bucket toilet system

The South African Human Rights Commission says it is considering pursuing legal action against water and sanitation authorities for their failure to eradicate the bucket toilet system in areas such as Coligny in North West.

The Commission says the bucket toilet system is not only a service delivery failure but represents ongoing human rights violations.
