Bear that prompted mass school closures in Japan captured

A black bear that was spotted more than a dozen times in the Japanese city of Utsunomiya was captured on Tuesday (Jun 9). Hunters were seen tranquilising the bear with a dart gun before loading it onto a truck and driving it away.

The bear's repeated appearances had prompted city officials to close all municipal primary and middle schools for two consecutive days.
