Cyber incident delays AVBOB funeral claim

A cyber-related incident at funeral service provider, AVBOB, has left a grieving family unable to bury their loved one for almost two weeks. The Maxengana family from Gqeberha in the Eastern Cape, has not been able to lay to rest their mother, as they wait for the funeral policy claim to be processed.
AVBOB has attributed this delay to a system disruption.
