Demonstrations planned for Tuesday in Laikipia to oppose construction of a quarantine facility

Laikipia County security committee has vowed to take action on any goons who will loot or destroy property during the planned demonstrations on Tuesday against the construction of an Ebola quarantine facility at Laikipia Airbase. This comes as World Health Organization director general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus on Monday urged Uganda to reconsider the closure of its border with Democratic Republic of Congo because of the Ebola outbreak.
