Edwin Sifuna De-Whipped as Senate Deputy Minority Whip

Nairobi City County Senator Edwin Sifuna has been de-whipped as the deputy minority whip. Sifuna has been replaced by Migori County Senator Eddie Oketch. Senate Speaker Amason Kingi, while giving the communication to the house Thursday afternoon, followed a resolution by the Minority Party leadership informing the speaker of the changes in the party leadership. Sifuna’s de-whipping comes a few days after being officially removed as the Orange Democratic Movement Party Secretary General.
