The call for democracy that began in Gwangju in May 1980.And throughout that history, young people were always at its core.

Following the “Democracy Trail,” a neighborhood walking tour
operated by Gwanak-gu district in Seoul,college students retrace the footsteps of the democratization movementthrough Seoul National University and the alleys of Daehak-dong.

From the April 19 Memorial Tower to Acropolis Square,and from the Park Jong-cheol Memorial to the Park Jong-cheol Memorial Center,they encounter not just textbook history,but living sites where the spirit of democracy still endures.

Standing before the questions left behind by past generations,what answers will today’s youth discover for themselves?

그리고 그 역사의 한가운데엔 언제나 청춘들이 있었다!

서울 관악구에서 운영하는 마을 도보투어 ‘민주주의 길’을 따라
오늘의 대학생들이
서울대학교와 대학동 골목 곳곳에 남겨진 민주화 운동의 흔적을 직접 걸어본다.

4·19 혁명 기념탑부터 아크로폴리스 광장,
박종철 열사 기념비와 박종철센터까지.
교과서 속 역사가 아닌, 지금도 살아 숨 쉬는 민주주의의 현장을 만나본다.

과거의 청춘들이 남긴 질문 앞에서
오늘을 살아가는 청춘들은 어떤 답을 떠올리게 될까.
