Decode With Sudhir Chaudhary: A massive 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck the Philippines at around 5 AM today, making it the strongest earthquake to hit the country in the last 12 years. At least 32 people have lost their lives while more than 200 others have been injured so far. One of the most terrifying visuals emerged from a school where children were about to attend the morning assembly when the ground suddenly began shaking violently. Students were left terrified as teachers rushed to protect and calm them amid the chaos, while a part of the school roof collapsed within seconds. The Philippines witnessed nine major tremors and over 200 aftershocks throughout the day, causing widespread destruction and several buildings to collapse.

Decode With Sudhir Chaudhary: आज की सबसे बड़ी अंतरराष्ट्रीय खबर फ़िलीपींस से सामने आई, जहां सुबह करीब पाँच बजे 7.8 तीव्रता का विनाशकारी भूकंप आया। पिछले बारह वर्षों में यह फ़िलीपींस का सबसे शक्तिशाली भूकंप माना जा रहा है। इस भूकंप में अब तक 32 लोगों की मौत हो चुकी है जबकि 200 से ज़्यादा लोग घायल बताए जा रहे हैं। सबसे डरावनी तस्वीर एक स्कूल से सामने आई, जहां बच्चों की असेंबली शुरू होने वाली थी और तभी ज़मीन तेज़ी से कांपने लगी। बच्चे डर से चीखने लगे, शिक्षक उन्हें बचाने और शांत रखने की कोशिश करते रहे, लेकिन कुछ ही सेकेंड्स में स्कूल की छत का हिस्सा गिर गया। पूरे फ़िलीपींस में नौ बड़े झटके और 200 से अधिक आफ्टरशॉक्स महसूस किए गए, जिससे कई इमारतें ढह गईं और भारी तबाही मची है।
