The oceans help produce the oxygen we breathe. They feed us, power trade and absorb much of our heat and carbon pollution - but now, they are under growing strain from rising temperatures, pollution and biodiversity loss. With the High Seas Treaty in force this year, the focus is on turning promises into protection.
