National Treasury's Principal Secretary Chris Kiptoo ,has defended the ongoing budget-making process, saying it is tailored to gradually reduce the country’s reliance on borrowing and steer Kenya towards fiscal sustainability.PS Kiptoo has maintained the government's proposed tax measures aimed at funding the budget ,have been carefully considered and are guided by national interest.
