Coastal cleanups: Some cleanup groups in Singapore seeing more volunteers in the past year

More people in Singapore are heading to the beach - not for leisure, but to clean it up. Organisers of beach and urban cleanup efforts are seeing 50 per cent more volunteers at their events over the past year. As the island marks World Ocean Day on Jun 8, participants say they are driven by a desire to give back to the community and make a positive impact on the environment. Nadirah Zaidi has more.
