'Stop military expansion': Large-scale protests held in Tokyo over policy shift

On April 19, tens of thousands of demonstrators gathered in Tokyo to protest against the Japanese government's moves toward constitutional revision, the deployment of long-range missiles and the easing of arms export restrictions. Protesters warned that these policies could undermine Japan's pacifist constitution and raise the risk of conflict, calling on the government to change course and prioritize peace.
