Parliament Impeachment Committee meets tomorrow

Parliament's Impeachment Committee, will meet again tomorrow to finalise its preparatory work.

This, as it experienced a setback last week, after the Western Cape High Court granted President Cyril Ramaphosa's urgent bid to stop the oral testimony or public hearings of the committee.

The committee was set up after the Constitutional Court ruled in May that Parliament's 2022 decision to reject the Section 89 Independent Panel report was unconstitutional.
