Tsunami alert issued after M7.7 earthquake strikes off Japan's Honshu #worldnow

A magnitude-7.7 earthquake struck off the eastern coast of Honshu, Japan, on Monday afternoon at a depth of 10 kilometers, according to the Japan Meteorological Agency. A tsunami warning has been issued.
