Armenia votes amid Russian pressure on pro-Western leaders | Morning Report

Armenians are heading to the polls in a parliamentary election seen as a key test of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s efforts to secure a lasting peace with neighboring Azerbaijan after years of conflict.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is on his way to London, where he will meet with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and British PM Keir Starmer to discuss further support for Ukraine.

By sending a letter to Vladimir Putin and proposing a meeting, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wasn’t trying to bypass the United States but was rather being proactive ahead of the coming winter – said the Founder of FACE Geopolitical Consultancy Velina Czakarova, speaking to TVP World.
