We kickstart the show with a Winter Hats and High Tea hosted by author and entrepreneur, Puleng Magape. This event embraced grooming women and reminding them about self-love. Still on fashion, we move over to Pantone Sundays as it continues to show us that style is about more than what you wear, but rather about self-expression, connection, and creativity. It was a pink affair! We're in Youth Month, and June 16 1976 was a historic day in South Africa. This milestone marks the 50th Anniversary where young people fought for equality, quality education, and economic justice. While the narrative of the uprising continues, a new era has dawned. Exactly five decades later, South Africans will further commemorate these youngsters with a march under the theme: Finishing What Was Started - we have 2 Directors in studio to elaborate. We now switch it up with a Black Tie Casino Night set the tone for an evening of elegance, style and cultural celebration. Inspired theme: East Meets Africa. Guests interpreted the concept through fashion, blending African luxury with Eastern influences in bold and creative ways. Nothing good like good food, now onto fine cuisine, rich in cultural and historical sentiments at a restaurant which recently opened its doors to food enthusiasts. Full of Italian charm, flavors and exceptional hospitality, it feels like mini-Italy in the hub of Johannesburg. We continue with our book club, and this youth month, we're shining a spotlight on young South Africans who are breaking barriers, challenging expectations, and proving that age is never a limitation when purpose and passion lead the way. Celebrations are what we are certainly known for amongst other fabulous things. We honor women who have made a mark in their respective disciplines over the years and still continue to shine. We spent the day with a celebrated South African fashion designer and cultural icon, Kediagetse Mosimane affectionately known as Sister Bucks to talk about all things fashion.
