Envoys appointed amid anti-immigrant concerns

President Cyril Ramaphosa has announced that he will appoint envoys who will engage with African countries as concerns are raised about the recent anti-immigrants sentiment that is spreading in South Africa.

Some countries are pushing for a discussion on this matter during the upcoming AU summit in Egypt.

The president is also expected to address the nation about this issue.
