IEC SADC | Confidence in elections remains work in progress

Confidence in elections remains a work in progress across the region. That was the key message as the Electoral Commission of South Africa hosts electoral leaders from across Southern Africa.

The programme is aimed at strengthening democracy and boosting trust in the ballot.

It also equips newly appointed commissioners with the leadership, governance and crisis-management skills needed to deliver credible, transparent and peaceful elections.
