Jammed Ukrainian sea drone explodes near Romanian port | Ukraine Brief

In an open letter to Vladimir Putin published on Thursday, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called for a face-to-face meeting in a neutral country. To kick off peace talks, Zelenskyy proposed a full ceasefire as well as an ""all-for-all"" prisoner-of-war exchange.

This comes as Ukraine received 185 prisoners of war from Russia today in exchange for handing over the same number of Russian POWs. As part of the swap, Ukraine also secured the release of one civilian who had been held in Russian captivity.

A Ukrainian maritime drone self-destructed near an oil terminal in Romania's Black Sea port of Constanța on Friday. Kyiv said the drone had been operating in the Black Sea when it veered off course due to Russian electronic jamming systems.
