'Partners not, rivals': Xi calls for a diplomatic reset during Trump's visit to China

"Partners not, rivals" - those are the words of China's President Xi Jinping as he welcomed US President Donald Trump.
The US leader shared similar sentiments saying the relationship between the two countries is "better than ever before."
Xi is holding talks with US business leaders in a visit that is expected to be dominated by trade.
Earlier, the two leaders met in The Great Hall of the People after a pomp-filled welcome ceremony.
But thornier issues are also likely to be discussed, including Taiwan and the Iran war.
