India’s seafood exports continue to register impressive growth.

Union Minister of Commerce & Industry, Piyush Goyal, highlighted that tiger prawn exports increased by 40% last year, while squid and cuttlefish recorded 30% growth.

The government is actively working towards diversifying the seafood export basket, including promoting cold water aquaculture to tap into high-value markets in Europe, America, and Canada.
