There's nobody who is going to do a shutdown of this country: Ntshavheni

Minister in the Presidency, Khumbudzo Ntshavheni has re-iterated that no shutdown will be taking place in the country on the 30th of June 2026.

Civic organizations such as Insizwa Ngobunsizwa, the March and March Movement, and other organisations are planning mass demonstrations across the country against undocumented foreign nationals.

Ntshavheni says whilst South Africans have the right to protest, they are forbidden from taking the law into their own hands.

She made these remarks while briefing the media on the outcomes of the Cabinet meeting held earlier this week.
