#WATCH | This is the same Congress that opposed Jan Dhan, Aadhaar, mobile connectivity, and women’s empowerment initiatives. Congress opposed digital payments. It opposed GST. It opposed reservations for the economically weaker sections among the general category. It opposed the law against triple talaq. It opposed the abrogation of Article 370.

Even when our Constitution and our courts emphasise the need for a Uniform Civil Code (UCC), Congress opposes that as well. The moment it hears the word “reform,” Congress rushes forward with a banner of opposition. Any measure that strengthens the nation is met with resistance, as Congress uses all its energy to create obstacles.

Congress opposes “One Nation, One Election.” It opposes efforts to remove illegal infiltrators from the country. It opposes the purification of voter lists (SIR). It opposes reforms in Waqf Boards. Congress even opposed the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), which aims to provide protection to refugees. By spreading misinformation and rumours about it, the party created unrest across the country.

Congress has also hindered national efforts to eliminate Maoist and Naxalite violence. This has been its consistent pattern: whenever a reform is introduced, it spreads misinformation and creates confusion. History stands witness to this: PM
