Police recover 26,000 yuan in lifetime savings for heartbroken 83-year-old

In Yanyuan County, southwest China's Sichuan Province, an 83-year-old woman walked into a police station in total distress. She had lost more than 26,000 yuan (about $3,810) – money she had painstakingly saved over many years by living frugally.

Local police did not waste a second, splitting into multiple groups and recovering the full amount in just two hours.
