Rescuers pulled passengers from waters after 7.7 quake off eastern Indonesia

Dramatic footage has emerged of ferry passengers falling into the water at Lorens Say Port in Maumere on Indonesia's Flores Island, after a magnitude 7.7 earthquake struck on Saturday (Aug 15). Rescuers were seen helping them to safety.

At least 53 people have been killed across affected areas, while more than 1,300 homes were damaged. Authorities said most of those still missing were trapped under rubble. #indonesia #indonesianews
