Beijing urges EU to view trade ties objectively and rationally #worldnow

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said at a press briefing in Beijing on Thursday that China hopes the EU will view trade ties in an objective and rational manner. Mao made the remarks in response to a media query about a College of Commissioners orientation debate held by the European Commission not long ago, which declared the current EU-China trade and investment relationship "not sustainable" and pushed for "de-risking" with China.
