Iran to US: ‘Enriched uranium is not going anywhere’

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei told state TV that Iran's stockpiles of enriched uranium would not be transferred anywhere after US President Donald Trump claimed the United States would remove the material.

Differences remain over Tehran's nuclear programme, which has been a key sticking point in peace talks, with Iran defending its right to what it says is a civilian nuclear energy program.
