ANC Chief Whip media briefing focuses on Impeachment Committee

ANC Chief Whip, Mdumiseni Ntuli, briefed the media in Parliament on various issues, including the recently established Impeachment Committee, and the election of Rise Mzansi MP, Makashule Gana as chairperson.

Ntuli says the party's Parliamentary Caucus welcomed the constitution of the Section 89 Impeachment Committee, adding that there was no meeting of the GNU prior to the establishment of the impeachment committee, and that individual parties engaged in internal consultations and bilateral lobbying instead.

Ntuli also addressed the immigration tensions that have sprung up in parts of the country.l
