Madlanga Commission | Jacob accuses Flynn of misleading probe

Colonel Gavin Jacob of the KZN Hawks has accused Major-General Hendrik Flynn of misleading the probe in his evidence on the investigation into the stolen R200-million cocaine from a Port Shepstone facility in June 2021.

Jacob claims that Flynn approached the investigation, aiming to advance what he calls a 'false narrative' resulting in irreparable harm to KZN Hawks officers.

The probe would later focus on Jacob's own conduct, which could allegedly give credence to suspicions surrounding the drug bust.
