High Court dismisses petition on Mbijiwe’s whereabouts

The High Court has declined a petition seeking to compel government agencies to produce missing security analyst and former military officer Mwenda Mbijiwe. Delivering the Judgment Wednesday, Justice Martin Muya ruled there was no sufficient proof to support claims that Mbijiwe was being unlawfully detained by police or any other government agency since he disappeared in June 2021 while on his way to Meru.
