Persons with Disabilities lobby for more Cabinet, PS and ambassadorial appointments

Persons with Disabilities have issued a raft of demands they want fulfilled before the 2027 general election. The demands include greater representation in leadership, implementation of disability laws, and economic empowerment, among others. Government Spokesperson Dr. Isaac Mwaura, who attended PWDs y forum in Nairobi, challenged political parties to move beyond token representation and ensure such persons are fully included in decision-making structures.
