Despite our best efforts, we were unable to succeed, and the amendment to the Women’s Reservation Bill could not be passed. For this, I sincerely apologise to all the mothers and sisters of our nation.

For us, the nation’s interest is paramount. However, when for some people, party interests become more important than national interest, it is the nation and its women who suffer the consequences. This is exactly what has happened once again. Due to the selfish politics of parties like the Congress, DMK, TMC, and Samajwadi Party, the women of our country have had to bear the loss: PM @narendramodi
