Secretary General Mark Rutte arrived in Kyiv today for an unannounced visit just a day after one of Russia’s heaviest strikes on Ukraine and its cities. The attack killed more than 20 people and wounded more than a hundred others.

The English city of Southampton became the scene of violent clashes as crowds gathered to protest against the police’s handling of an attack on British-Polish student Henry Nowak, who was handcuffed despite being stabbed and later died due to his wounds.
