Severe weather predicted for NMB

Nelson Mandela Bay is once again on high alert as the South African Weather Service has issued a Level 8 severe weather warning for the metro.

Municipal disaster management teams, emergency services and infrastructure departments have all been placed on standby, ahead of the expected heavy rainfall.

The warning comes less than a month after devastating floods displaced thousands of residents, damaged roads and infrastructure and left large parts of the metro underwater.
