A Nairobi court has declined an application by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecution to withdraw a Sh356.million theft case against Oki company director, ruling that the grounds advanced for terminating the proceedings had not been sufficiently established. Milimani Trial Magistrate Rose Ndombi on Tuesday ruled that criminal proceedings against Honey Khatwani, a director of Oki General Trading Limited, should proceed in accordance with the law. And as Ruth Wamboi reports, the ruling means Khatwani's case will continue to its logical conclusion before the Milimani’s Lower Court.
