NYOTA Beneficiaries to Receive Second Tranche of Startup Capital by June 30

Beneficiaries of the NYOTA program will receive the second tranche of business startup capital by June 30 this year, with all payments set to be disbursed simultaneously rather than in phases. The Principal Secretary, State Department for MSMEs Development, Susan Mang'eni, while acknowledging the delays in disbursement, assured that plans are now in place to ensure the release happens within the set timeline. Mang’eni said the NYOTA Project remains among the government's flagship initiatives aimed at promoting youth entrepreneurship and addressing unemployment through business support and economic empowerment programs.
