CODE ENFORCEMENT Calls Me While Helping a Family… and Suddenly We Face a BIGGER Problem

We showed up to help Fengelo — a husband, a father of four, and a man who’s been fighting lung and brain cancer for years. Raccoons had torn through parts of his soffits, and his gutters were clogged and overflowing every time it rained.
Our plan was simple: fix the soffits, replace all the gutters, and make sure he never has to worry about this again. But just when everything seemed to be going right… my phone rang.

And from that moment on, everything changed.
This is a story about kindness, real struggles, and how unexpected problems can hit when you least expect them.
