Norway Eyes Bigger Investments In India #indianorway #PMModi #EFTA

India–Norway relations have entered a new phase, with Norway describing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit as both historic and outcome-oriented.

Norwegian Ambassador May-Elin Stener highlighted that nearly 30 agreements were signed during the visit, while the partnership was elevated to a Green Strategic Partnership. She also reaffirmed Norway’s commitment to supporting the India–EFTA Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement, which envisages investments of USD 100 billion and significant job creation over the next 15 years.

Calling India one of the world’s most dynamic growth destinations, Norway signalled strong interest in expanding cooperation across technology, healthcare, infrastructure, ports and sustainable development.
