Israel and Hezbollah clash ahead of US-hosted talks

The resumption of hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah putting a fragile ceasefire in Lebanon to the test, ahead of upcoming talks in Washington DC. Fresh drone strikes on southern Lebanon have killed at least four people, with new evacuation orders issued for Nabatieh city. The IDF, meantime, said its air defences intercepted two projectiles from Lebanon, adding that no injuries were reported. The situation in Lebanon has weighed heavily on tense indirect diplomatic efforts between Tehran and Washington. Iran has reiterated that Lebanon must be included in the ceasefire agreement.
