Philippines sees EV sales surge as fuel prices soar

Soaring fuel prices linked to the conflict in the Middle East are pushing more Filipino motorists to make the switch to electric vehicles. EV sales in the Philippines jumped 36 per cent in the first quarter of this year, but the surge in demand is also exposing supply constraints and a shortage of charging stations.
