Insurance murder-accused remanded in custody

The bail application of a woman accused of plotting the murder of her sister has been postponed to Thursday in the Camperdown Magistrate's Court outside Durban.

Nikiwe Mngwengwe and her co-accused, and alleged hitman Duncan Ntuli, briefly appeared in court on Monday.

It is alleged Mngwengwe hired Ntuli to murder her sister, Fundisa Mngwengwe, as part of a scheme involving fraudulent life insurance claims.
