Manamela, Portfolio Committee engage over NSFAS board disbandment

The Portfolio Committee on Higher Education and Training has held a full-day engagement with Minister Buti Manamela regarding the process that led to the dissolution of the NSFAS board and the appointment of an administrator.

Committee Chairperson TebogoLetsie noted the Minister's remarks that the intervention was not motivated by malice and that no directive was issued to the NSFAS board concerning the appointment of the CEO.
